Oliver Osborne, Olly Tait’s great-grandfather, acquires Theophane, a young daughter of imported Caulfield Cup winner Shepherd King. The family’s first great foundation mare, a century of top horses descended from Theophane have run and excelled in the Tait colours of red with a white cap – among them Doomben 10,000 winner In Love, Debutante and Gimcrack winner Attentive, Flight Stakes winner Fiancee, Oaks winner Wild Iris and Oaks runner-up and G2 winner Zanbagh. Zanbagh currently resides at Twin Hills to continue the line.
