Twin Hills Stud is owned by Olly and Amber Tait. A world-class thoroughbred operation in Australia, Twin Hills stands G1 Golden Rose winner Denman, G2 Todman Stakes winner Smart Missile and G1 2YO Odyssey Moon and offers racehorse spelling, broodmare and youngstock agistment, sales preparation and consignment and bloodstock management.
Located at Cootamundra in New South Wales, Twin Hills Stud is situated near where Olly’s family have bred some of Australia’s greatest racehorses. Baguette, Tie The Knot and Spinning Hill all carried the Tait family’s famous red and white colours to multiple Group 1 victories. Along with the Tait’s horses, countless Champions, Golden Slipper winners, Guineas, Derby and Oaks winners have all been produced in the area.
Twin Hills is perfectly situated between the Hunter Valley and North East Victoria, providing access to both of Australia’s most prominent breeding areas. It is also within easy reach of the racing stables in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
Twin Hills consist of 2500 acres of gently undulating land with facilities that have been architecturally designed and purpose-built. Thorough consideration has been given to paddock layout, horse movement, stable configuration and all the amenities required to safely breed, prepare and care for young stock and racehorses to an incomparable level. The stud has dedicated stallion, broodmare, yearling and racehorse facilities including more than 100 stables across several barns, undercover sand rolls, quarantine stables and walker that are surrounded by kilometres of post and rail fencing and thousands of acres of irrigated pastures sewn on rich alluvial soils.
Twin Hills is managed by a team of dedicated and experienced staff who are focused on the care and development of the horses on the stud. They are led by Stud Manager Steve Brien who has decades of experience managing horses for Mike Willesee, the Ingham Brothers and Sheikh Mohammed.
